This is the spot I go to when I'm craving ramen. I love their Ching Pon dish and Spicy noodles with an extra egg. Yummm.

A coworker recommended Sapporo Ramen & Shabu-Shabu, particularly the spicy kimchi flavored broth base. (You choose a base for your shabu-shabu.) I chose that with the seafood selection: mussels, scallops, salmon, shrimp, and more. I loved the flavor and the experience. I went for lunch on a workday, and the timing was great.
It's not super cheap, but this is not some pseudo-chinese fast food.
Also you might re-think shabu-shabu for a date with someone you don't know well.
It's a lot of fun having the broth and ingredients cook right at your table: dramatic, fresh, dynamic. If you like to participate in the final prep of your meal, shabu-shabu is a great choice, and this is a good place to go.
Side note on shabu-shabu in general: if you're like me, shabu-shabu is not the most tidy style of food. Because you scoop (or chopstick) the food into the broth and then onto your plate, there are lots of changes for tiny splatters or drips. Don't go wearing a precious silk tie or dress, and don't go here for a first date.

The Bar Wong Ramen is really tasty and my most favor is the Kimchi soup hotpot with small pork, you will not regret to have it.

The ramen was horrible, the broth taste like aftersmell of wiping down a counter.

Not a lot of seating, but great Raman selection. I wasn't impressed with the Shabu-Shabu. Good pricing and lunch spot for Ramen.

I tried their Tonkotsu Ramen as late night snacks, average taste. Good thing that their close later than the other japanese restaurants in the area.

One of my most favorite restaurants on Brand. I've tried several of their ramen options and not been dissapointed. Pork belly is the best. Very tasty.

Good ramen and shabu for Glendale area. A bit pricey but it saves me driving to little Tokyo. Pork belly was good!

Good quality ramen in an area short of decent ramen. Had the curry ramen and it is was slightly spicy, had 3 thick slices of chashu pork and a good amount of noodles and other veggies. I recommend it if you're in the area.
