Farmers has the best Homeowners rates in Georgia!!!

Had to unfortunately deal with Farmers when I was hit by another driver who had Farmers Insurance. On the night of the accident, the other driver was issued a ticket, and the officers informed us of fault, and that it would take 3-4 days to get report to Farmers. After nearly two weeks of calling Farmers and trying to get a rental and them to move forward on my car, I finally was just going to file with my company, and my company would be forced to subugate?, sue, Farmers for the costs. On the day I get a call from my company telling me the car was totaled, Farmers calls and says they will accept liability and is ready to move forward. I think that finally they are going to just "Do The Right Thing", wrong. After waiting another 2 weeks I get a call from Farmers and they say they also have totaled the vehicle, but value it at 1800 less than my company. From 5300 to 3500? Your kidding me. So here I am, a month later having to do what I guess what I should have done in the first place, file with my own company and then sue Farmers. I am sure they will take your monthly payments, good luck if you expect to be treated fairly when you file a claim.

My experience has been consistent with others who have provided a review. Helpful agents but the adjusters and claim service is horrible. Arrogant is the word i would use to sdescribe them. The majority of homes around mine, and all with similar style/age roofs, received insurance coverage for hail damage to roofs but not mine. How can the house next door with the same age three-tab shinglre roof get $13,000 in damge while my roof that only needs $7.500 is not covered? I will continue to persue this through the Sate Commisioner and an independent adjuster. It's not the money so much as the principle! Stay away from these guys.

Terrible service. Terrible customer service. Careless agent and careless business theirselves. This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. Not satisfied one bit with this company. Oh and don't let me forget about stealing my money. Very professional.

Ryan Davis is a wonderful agent. I call Ryan for everything, I ask him insurance questions all the time for me, family and friends. He is always helpful and patient with me. Ryan has saved me a ton of money and time over the past six years. I have never been to his actual office, I have done everything over the phone and internet, new cars, home owners, changing deductibles and claims. I love my Farmers Agent, I was recently in an accident. The adjuster came back with a number lower than my what my Farmers Agent, Sunni Josey, had seen on NADA, so Sunni called the adjuster and I was told the claim check would be processed at the higher amount. I got the check today and it was the higher amount. THANKS so much for making this stressful time easier for both me and my daughter as she now has enough to purchase another vehicle. We really appreciate all the work Farmers has doen for us over the years!!!

I would recomend Farmers over any other company, my agent Elliot Abbott, in Tuscaloosa, AL has always answered any question I had, and if he couldnt he went out of his way to get the correct answer to me. Had my first claim this year, they had someone out to see me that day and I had a check within 4 days. Talk about service!!!!

I havent file any claims, and my credit history is really good, but I dont feel comfortable giving my social security around just for an estimate, so I guess I wont be switching to Farmers Insurance any time soon.

Glad to have my agent on my side! Careasa Greer has been my agent for the past year (since I moved to Tennessee). I was referred to her by a friend. Her office is in Murfreesboro and I live in Maryville! I wasn't very secure in working with an agent that is over 200 miles away, but I have found her to be the most informative and professional agent I have worked with and she does an amazing job in making me feel like she is local! What I love about her most is that she is willing to share information with me to help me to understand my policy and what I need to do to deter losses. As a business professional, I understand information is key to making decisions. At anytime that I needed to contact her office, her staff is very courteous, professional and willing to go out of their way to help me with my concerns and needs. I have read a lot of stories about Farmers, some good and some bad. I must have gotten lucky because my agent is a jewel!

I would also rate this company a negative value. I was in a car accident that was not my fault and was dealt with more fairly by the other party's insurance company than my own. My vehicle was in my Dad's name and since our dealing with Help Point we will both be taking our policies elsewhere and my Dad has been with Farmers over 40 years. My vehicle was totaled and we were given a big packet of figures and told to accept the offer. There were adjustments made that we asked for the calculations for them and got no answer. They compared my vehicle to ford escape XLT when I had a Limited and refused to show calculations for adjustments (one even missing an adjustment). They would not listen to any facts we presented or even look at mistakes we found in the paperwork. Finally we just got so fed up we signed their offer and left the company.

Love my insurance agent, Careasa Greer. She is awesome! When the tornadoes hit Murfreesboro in April 2009, Farmers was the first on the scene! Not only were they first, they handled my claim quickly and I was able to start the processing of getting my life back together. My agent was in contact with the our claims adjuster the entire time. Not only did she confirm how my claims were being handled, she tracked me down at our hotel and made sure me and my family were ok, made sure we had our check to provide us with food, clothing and the hotel. She also gave me her cell phone number to contact if should I need further assistance! A+++ Agent who works hard for her clients. My neighbor (3 doors down) had a loss due to the tornadoes too. Guess who was their agent? Yes, Careasa Greer! She went out of her way to take care of us and I will always appreciate her and Farmers!
