Brentwood City Police Department

As a concerned citizen , I have been trying to get SOME traffic enforcement (speeding , red lighters , noise & commercial included ) along Balfour Rd..Started with MayorTaylor back in Nov. of 2013, through the city council , police and yes ! even included county & state offices all agreeing ( but just pointing their fingers to the other offices ) with signed petitions of local residents complaining of the BALFOUR RD issue. This city has turned Balfour Rd. into a FREEWAY. When you can actually see a red lighter nearly take out a police unit as observed on many occasions with the unit not even pullihg it over in the least , tells us how can he protet us when he will not protect himself from the same issue . What a joke ! I have seen police send 2 , 3 , units for a senior man that simply got lost on foot & was disoriented w / police simply just standing around , while the one officer was taking care of the situation along w / a supv. , C. C. Fire & A M R .. Why all the EXTRA officers standing around ? I have witnessed this same situation in minor traffic accidents ( just standing there w / there thumbs in their belts. I have met w /the chief , 2 capts & have never seen a more arrogant police state than right here in my own city . They simply choose NOT TO ENFORCE SPEEDING ALONG THIS VERY FREEWAY BUSY SPEEDWAY. It's sad that they will be there AFTER the accident , but will not enforce law to try & prevent it from happening in the 1 st place . I support Law & was there in the park gathering donations for the Lunger family , an officer I never got to Thank . I did pull over a few months ago to Thank Officer Ian Jones in Oakley for his service in Oakley , oh yes Oakley enforces the speed limit . Let it be said . I can see why Police are hated as such in todays times. Some simply CHOOSE not to listen to the people. But like Capt. Hansen go on to brag about his 28 yrs. of law enforcement . OR Capt. Martinez knowing where his men are at, at all times ,I responded YEA ! I know where they are not at BALFOUR SPEEDWAY .

I have needed to contact the police department twice in 15 years and both times I was extremely disappointed with their attitude and lack of care for the nature of their job.

The first time I reported a robbery and the police office blatantly asked me: "So, what do you want me to do?". The second time I called to figure out if a given company had been scamming people in the neighborhood and the person on the phone not only was not helpful, she was rude.



In my opinion they don't care to do their job at all. They can't even pretend to care.and simply want to collect a free paycheck.



We should have a measure on the ballot to privatize the police department, then maybe we'll be able to hire people that will do their job properly.

Had problem with lady I Caregived 4! She needed to be placed in group home due to her condition! I could see why County called me to inform me on her trips to the emergency to get perscription pain killers! My Union UHW Local 250 advised me to make a complaint & to report it to I.H.S.S. Public Authority & Adult Protective Services & Fraud. I followed protocall, but somehow Brentwood Police Department on 9100 Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, CA 94513 told me to contact the Sherriffs Department who handles the outskirts of Brentwood! I called the Sherriffs Department & told me that being that she called me at my home, it's a Brentwood Police Department job! On Friday August 24th, 2012 around 5 p.m. I met Officer Michael Rucker #501 at my Avon Lady's home, when I told the Brentwood Police Department that I wasn't home! He had to meet me at the Avon ladys place but he didn't look too concern when I had to explain that this is protocall & it's not my call!! Officer Rucker did called the lady & she had the nerve to lie to the officer & say I should stop harrassing her, which it looked like he took the nut cases word over mine! Think it was because I am a minority woman of 48! But a college educated, went to Medical School & Laney College with a Labor Studies degree! And also aide & help my Union UHW Local 250 memebers in questions & answers! I'm no dummy! Right now following the path of which Michelle Obama is having America do! Eat right, be fit, & be healthy! Our Union is following the new rule & so am I! I've lost weight & with the temptations in my home, it is hard but I think about my 30 year High School Reunion in Brentwood, on Sept 22nd at Caps Bar & Grill! I want to look and feel my best! But I laugh with how we have all these police officers here in Brentwood, CA that are in the conceided side & know they are great looking men & it shows on how they walk, talk, & act! They crack me up, it's like looking at fashion models!!!!!! Just be yourselves!!!!!
