O'Charley's

This store is great! Everyone is super friendly and any issues we have ever had the manager has swiftly resolved. We love the servers here and the laid back atmosphere.

My first visit to O'Charley's will be my last. The restaurant opens at 11:00 am. The doors were still locked at 11:10. When they opened, I noted that there were six people already seated and eating. The booth my friend and I were seated at had crumbs on the seat and floor. The waitress passed by four times before she took our drink order. We gave our food order when the drinks arrived five minutes later. At that time, another couple was seated in the adjoining booth. They were seated, got their drink order and their food ordered and served before our food had even arrived!!!! When our food arrived (just hot sandwiches -- nothing fancy or time-consuming to prepare), the bread was stale, the fries were cool and the sandwiches were tepid. We ate, and were soon ready for the check, but not before it took the waitress three pass-bys to bring me the extra napkin I asked for and to refill the standing empty glass of my lunch companion. With the napkin drop-off and glass refill, the waitress didn't even make eye contact and there was no, "how is everything" or "is everything okay." Not once during the entire visit was that question asked by the waitstaff. At 12:05, we got the check. We had a coupon for the meal and had declined the free pie. While we were grateful for being able to use the coupon on "free pie Wednesday," it took 20 minutes -- yes, 20 minutes for the check to be paid. Apparently, there was some issue at the register, where an error was being cleared. Okay, but 20 minutes?! Where's the manager?! We were ready to just leave the money on the table and walk out. The couple in the adjoining booth had already finished their meal, eaten their free pie, paid their check and was out the door, while we were still sitting there with money in our hands. Deplorable service, mediocre food, and a sad, sorry checkout made for an extremely dismal restaurant experience. Never again, O'Charley's. Never.
