Bimini Bay Resort and Spa

This is a lie..bimini bay does not have water park,volleyball, tennis or basketball courts! NO movies theaters either! Theres no lights in entrance.NO pools,NO bars,NO spas ect! this is ALL a lie! This place is a joke!! Trash laying all around & in front of the garbage cans! And when you leave a message they DONT EVER return your call!! Nobody is in office after 5pm.

This resort has left be both bankrupt and heartbroken. We have been lied to and cheated by David Meadows and his fraudulent employees. This place is a run down, crime ridden, drug infested ghetto which not only blights the local area but which also continues to make Meadow's a lot of money at the owners expense. Pleas, please, take the time to look at this shithole before you part with your money as it really is a disgusting excuse of a holiday resort for this part of Florida.

I was interested in possibly renting a 3 bedroom townhouse and have not had any success with anyone getting back to me...I have also noticed whn visiting my friend who is a current resident, the place is filthy on the outside and needs to be presure washed not to mention swarming with kids that the parents obviously do not supervise and allow them to run around outside at night . Her daughters apt was even broken into....I must say I am glad no one got back to me because it saved me money and headaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,Thank you for taking the time to read this.... believe me it may save you a lot of money and an awful lot of heartache. I purchased a townhouse from David Meadows at Bimini bay and when I had it inspected it was classed as uninhabitable and rated one out of ten. We were conned by the promise of guaranteed rental which WAS NOT PAID TO US, and he subsequently went on to rent our townhouse ILLEGALLY without us knowing. This lasted 8 months until we forced the eviction. NONE OF THIS ILLEGAL RENT MONEY WAS PAID TO US. This place is a run down, incompleted shanty town of which any positive review is clearly fraudulent and an attempt to cover the truth. Ask them if the development is finished, Ask them if there are any restaurants, Ask them if there are any swimming pools, Ask them if there is a clubhouse. The answer is no to all of those. ASK YOURSELF WHY THIS PLACE IS ADVERTISING THESE FACILITIES WHEN THERE ARE NONE. DAVID MEADOWS IS A CON MAN AND A FRAUDSTER.

i never in my life met someone as corrupt as the developer of this so-called resort! no pools, no restaurants and no plans on ever building one. empty promises. HOA fees that escalate for no reason (i am sure he pockets the money). house are selling for 35k now! (purchased for over 125k!). Guns are rampant. no working cameras. no security. no lights. we keep getting fines for no reason and without warning. on top of this, we are suing the developer for damages soon. he's also been convicted of crimes in the past and is been investigated by attorney general NOW!i strongly advice you not to buy here

the website is false. there is no pool, no spa, no resort, no buisiness center only drug deals and violent crimes including burgulary, arson, and rape. If you want to get no sleep at all then feel free to try this place. The irrigation is high in nutrient value since it features runoff of human waste and boy does it smell awfull. those wires sticking out of the ground...dont touch them or you will be killed. I didnt even want to give them one star but it was my only option

I thought this place was awesome when I found it- a FURNISHED 1 bedroom with utilities included for $600/mo is super-cheap for Orlando. However, my apartment got broken into TWICE in the four months I lived here. My laptop was stolen both times (2nd one was new- so glad I spent all those countless hours of overtime saving up for it.) The walls are PAPER thin, so I can tell you pretty much anything you would ever want to know about my neighbors. The location is convenient if you work at the DAK side of Disney, but getting to I4 takes almost 20 minutes, which is a pain when you want to go downtown. The one bedrooms are a nice size, but the kitchens only have a mini fridge (with a "freezer" section about 3" high that does NOT keep things frozen), no dishwasher or garbage disposal. There is no pool, there are no laundry facilities, and no hookups in the one bedrooms for laundry. I was the first person to live in my unit, which was nice, but that's one of very few positives.

BIMINI BAY RESORT COULD HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL PLACE WITH ALL THE PLANS THEY HAD BUT IT NEVER WAS COMPLETED. IN FACT IT HAS TURNED INTO THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN MY OPINION DUE TO NO AMENITIES(NOT EVEN A POOL OR A BASKETBALL HOOP FOR THE KIDS), HORRIBLE CABLE & INTERNET, & THE FACT THAT CURRENTLY THEY HAVE ABOUT 6 SEXUAL PREDATORS ALSO LIVING IN THIS COMMUNITY. IT WAS MEANT TO BE A RESORT BUT THE OWNER NEVER FINISHED HIS PROJECT. THEY ARE NOW STARTING TO PUT STREET LIGHTS BUT THEY START THINGS AND THEY DON'T FINISH SO DON'T KNOW WHEN THAT WILL BE UP AND RUNNING. THE ADVERTISE CAMARAS IN THE FRONT WHEN THEY KNOW DAMN WELL THERE ARE NO CAMARAS. CURRENTLY AS OF MARCH 18,2010 BIMINI BAY RESORT IS DOING LONG TERM RENTALS. THE UNITS ARE NOT BUILT FOR LONG TERM RENTALS DUE TO THE LACK OF STORAGE SPACE IN KITCHENS & BEDROOMS. THE ONLY THING I CONSIDER TO BE ON THE PLUS SIDE AS A RESIDENT THERE IS THAT THE UNITS COME WITH LOCK OUT UNITS WHICH IS PERFECT FOR MY FAMILY & MYSELF. THE CABLE IN THIS

Look at their photos under owners corner at their own website. Very little is completed. They either have drawings or photos of another property. Notice there are NO REAL PEOPLE in ANY of their photos.I drove by and the place was deserted. I found several of their properties for sale at the local real estate ads.

24 HOURS A DAY? NO WAY. WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT CABLE FOR 2 DAYS AND CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE. CLUBHOUSE WAS TO HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN MARCH. STILL NO WHERE DONE ONE YEAR LATER. CRIME IS UP. DRUG BUSTS, HELICOPTERS OVERHEAD. THE INSIDE OF THE UNITS ARE NICE, WE LIKE OURS. BUT THE MANAGEMENT PEOPLE, UTILITY PEOPLE AT BIMINI BAY ARE A JOKE. YOU MUST USE THEIR CABLE AND INTERNET, HOA DOES NOT ALLOW ANY OTHER SERVICE INSIDE BIMINI BAY. SO WHEN THE SERVICE IS BAD, TOO BAD, SO SAD. YOUR HOOKED. RUN, SAVE YOURSELF.

I am an owner at this disgusting and poorly constructed development and would not wish a holiday here on my worst enemy. There ARE NO FACILITIES finished and there is no pool or clubhouse as claimed. The area has become a low income housing estate and in my opinion is not suitable for short term vacation rentals. The residents are demanding CCTV be installed immediately due to the severe security issues surrounding this development. A large number of the properties are in foreclosure and this is set to continue. There is nothing positive to be said about this development and any one thinking of staying here will be bitterly dissapointed.
