Bethany Memorial Cemetery

This place is owned by some of the most no caring, all about the all mighty dollar, noncompassionate people i have ever had any dealings with. Even though you own the deed to "your property" there you may as well not have one unless you buy your monument from Keiths. They take it very personal if you do not buy from them and do everything possible to make an already very unbearable situation even worse. My only son passed Feb of this year. He was a young man of 32. I found my monument elsewhere cheaper and the guy i ordered it from spent 4 hrs with my family and me. I went to Bethany because i hadnt received my deed yet after 3 months. I had bought the plot next to my son and we were going to share a monument. One of the owners was in the office and when he found out i had bought elsewhere wouldnt tell me if i was on the rt or left hand side of my son. It would have taken him all of 2 min, but said he would call me back. So he jumped in his bmw and left. He said he would find out and call me. 2 wks later i still had not received that call. The monument place needed to know which side to put our names on the monument. I felt deceived through my entire experience with these people. Not to mention overcharged on everything. When i chose our plots they told me i could plant a tree behind our monument. When spring came the story was changed to they had to plant the tree which wouldve cost about $20 at Lowes for $300 because they had to do it. I have read the other review where even though weather was permitting Bethany took months to pour their footer because they didnt buy from Keiths monuments. Besides losing my son they have made my experience with them one of the worst ordeals ever. When the other brother that designs the monuments found out i wasnt buying from them be hung up on me twice. Now i find out today the monument has to be at least 8 inches thick. Wasnt told this before and i believe ours is 7 and a half. Now i have a monument thats paid for that cant be put there because of their "stipulations". My son continues to lie in an unmarked grave thanks to their greediness. I have had enough of these people and will call the better business bureau next!!!!!
