Provided by SuperpagesThis is a fantastic school. We have observed that our child (now in 1st grade about to enter 2nd this fall) benefits from the fantastic Montessori teaching methods. She is very confident, and really learns so much beyond the usual studies! The surroundings/environment of the school are very influential on her need for knowledge of the world around her. We have also been able to participate in her class time, which they encourage. It's terrific. It's a perfect start to their educational foundation in life. -The Eagan Family

Provided by SuperpagesI would recommend Hayfield Montessori to any parent with a school age child. My son stayed at Hayfield until he finished second grade. It broke his (and our) heart to move him out but we relocated to another part of the city & we could not accommodate the commute in our schedules. Our son has benefitted immensely from all the "hands-on" learning he had at Hayfield. Our transition to public school was not difficult at all & we are very pleased that he has been on the Honor Roll every single month. My son misses all the cooking, baking & hands-on learning activities he did at Hayfield. All of that education and discipline has helped him stay organized in school, excel in learning and best of all maintain his passion for learning. His new teachers have been impressed with his social manners, work habits and discipline, all of which I attribute to his attending Hayfield. The teachers are very loving, caring & passionate about what they do. Take adv. of such a wonderful school in town.

Provided by SuperpagesHayfield has been around since 1967 and has a solid reputation for providing quality education. This is the first year my daughter is attending Hayfield and she loves it. The teachers are very focused on giving the kids the best education possible. I have seen a big difference in the way my daughter grasps new ideas. If you want your kids to have a solid foundation for their future, look no further, this is the school where you want to be. Good luck to Hayfield staff for their continued success. --Kiran

Provided by SuperpagesI feel like I'm sending my child to a second home. In preschool, children don't play they do "work" and it makes my 4 yo daughter feel so proud and accomplished. The teachers are caring and so dedicated, as are the parents. The school nurtures the whole child and they come out feeling confident and part of something larger.

Provided by SuperpagesOur two sons each had a wonderful experience at Hayfield. Despite being very different in personality, Hayfield was able to stimulate and foster a love of learning that continues many years later in both boys. Any challenges they faced were presented as attainable goals and their independent interests were encouraged and allowed to blossom. Hayfield is a wonderful place to help your child develop their learning for life.

Provided by SuperpagesMy family is glad we chose Hayfield. We've been there for about two years now and we couldn't be happier. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday. With all the unknowns involved when making a choice about one's children's education, we decided to trust Hayfield as a partner in our daughter's emotional and intellectual growth. We could not be happier.

Provided by SuperpagesWhen my children were younger they attended Hayfield Montessori School, which granted them a strong educational foundation. Their later academic success is directly attributable to the profoundly nurturing learning environment provided by the Denoncourt family. We are forever in their debt.

Provided by SuperpagesMontessori is only way to go if you are looking for a preschool. Hayfield Montessori is the best Louisville has to offer. It also has professional and competent teachers and administrators. It is the sweetest little campus with a big yellow house. In addition to the regular program, they offer extras such as yoga, spanish and music. They also offer part time and full time after school care. My children absolutely love this school and are more than ready for kindergarten.

Provided by SuperpagesExcellent school. My son is in his second year now and we love this school. The teachers are excellent. It is truly a montessori school that is child centered. It is a unique experience for a child to learn the montessori way and this school fulfills it in every way. Highly recommended.

Provided by SuperpagesHayfield has been the perfect spot for my child's introduction to the academia world. The transition from being at home her entire life to being out of the home could not have gone smoother. The support and reassurance from the Hayfield staff (family) I received helped me with the transition as well. Hayfield has surpassed all my expectations. My child is excelling in her confidence, respect for herself and others, social skills and building to a great learning foundation. Shea

My children have blossomed at Hayfield Montessori and I really couldn't be more happy with the overall experience.

Provided by SuperpagesMy son has attended Hayfield Montessori School since pre-K & is now a happy, outgoing & mature 4th grader at the school. The Montessori education builds confidence, self-reliance & responsibility. This is a hands-on approach to education that emphasizes multi-dimensional teaching methods, team work, individuality & respect for self & others. Class sizes are small with daily individual attention. He has many & various interests thanks to Hayfield. He plays soccer (they host a weekly clinic), chess (they have a well -trophied team and weekly class), the flute and piano (they teach recorder and hold a school-wide recital), crochets (they have a weekly lesson), creates art & ceramics (also taught at school), takes French, writes poetry, short stories & haiku, reads very well, & has made many close friends at the school. This kind of education is rare & precious. Tuition is competitive with parochial schools. Anonymous for privacy but you may contact me thru the school for more information.

Provided by SuperpagesA co-worker recommended this school and I have been very pleased with how my daughter is growing educationally, socially, and learning responsibility. Hayfield has allowed my daughter to explore her own unique talents (art, drawing,animals,etc..) through interactive play, individual activities, and circle time where they share and explore the world. Her language alone has changed from toddler lingo to proper, clear, structered English.

Provided by SuperpagesHayfield is a remarkable institution that provided all 3 of my children with the foundation to learn as well as the knowledge to process how to learn. My children were given the gift for loving to learn! If there is an investment to make in education, this is a 100% guarantee on your return! The students move at a pace that works for each individual while being stimulated, challenged and developing the self-confidence to believe in themselves. With my 3 children, 2 were cognitive processors and 1 was a visual learner. The teachers "got" each child and worked within a framework to remain connected, encourage and motivate my child without them losing the spontaneity or energy of their personalities or feel pressure to achieve. I still grieve that they have graduated Hayfield and feel eternally blessed by the education our whole family received. Thank you Hayfield!
